Together we can change lives

Make a difference within your local community

As a syndicate of 5 you can support a local student who is disadvantaged with a HMEF Scholarship, for less than $90 a month!

The stats show when you educate a girl you educate a community, a country. When girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous.’ – Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States, launching the Girls Opportunity Alliance, a program of the Obama Foundation that seeks to empower adolescent girls around the world through education.

Local community syndicates are building around Australia which involve five supporters supporting a local girl in their community who is bright and financially disadvantaged.

Are you a business in your local community who is keen to help those less fortunate? Demonstrating support for the future of young people in your area improves your customer relations and being associated with furthering their education is a way you can show your practical support.

Knowing your customers and your neighbourhood means local businesses are the first to be approached for support for local sporting groups, school activities and other worthy causes. As well as providing a service to the community, showing your clients and customers that you support them and the area, helps you establish a reputation as a community-minded business that reaps rewards in customer support.

Supporters can pay $88 a month for four years, $1000 annually or a single one off donation of $4000. Together as a community your contributions support a full $20,000 scholarship for a high potential girl who is doing it tough.

The HMEF will match this by supporting another full scholarship, doubling your impact so that two girls get supported through your community.

Continued education for high-potential girls is recognised globally as critical to the improvement of communities all over the world.

To help you along the way we have an online kit of resources and information to share with your networks.
