Welcome to the Future of Empowerment

Every bright mind deserves a chance to shine. At the Harding Miller Education Foundation, we’re igniting potential by empowering high-achieving young women from disadvantaged backgrounds through life-changing scholarships.

Join us in breaking barriers and creating opportunities where they’re needed most.

Together, we’re not just investing in education—we’re shaping tomorrow’s leaders.

100% of donations directly support our scholars. All administrative and operating costs of HMEF are fully funded by Kim Harding and Irene Miller personally and through their Harding Miller Foundation (HMF).
The Harding Miller Education Foundation is a registered charity in Australia, recognised as a Public Benevolent Institution advancing the cause of education. Your donations are 100% tax deductible.

Every dollar counts

If your donation funds an entire scholarship, the full amount will be directed to your nominated scholar, with one exception: a small sum of $750 pa will be allocated to a shared fund supporting the Future Success Program. This fund covers group programs that equip every girl, including the one(s) you sponsor, with the skills and confidence for a successful future. These collaborative experiences aren’t possible on a one-to-one basis.

If your nominated scholar exits the program before she completes high school, the remaining balance will be redirected to support another scholar, and you will be notified accordingly.

Each year, you will receive an Independent Audit Statement confirming that all donated funds have been applied directly to HMEF scholars, with no portion used for administration or operational expenses. HMEF is unable to provide an itemised breakdown of spending for each student, as this would require significant administrative resources and money, which are better spent directly on the programs that support the girls.

Why Your Support Matters

The journey to success begins with access.

For many talented young women, the path is obstructed by financial challenges. Your donation opens doors to academic resources, mentoring, and opportunities that transform aspirations into achievements.

With your help, we’ve already changed hundreds of lives. But there’s so much more we can do. When you give, you’re not just funding a scholarship—you’re sparking a ripple effect that benefits families, communities, and society as a whole.
