Home / Alumnae
At Harding Miller Education Foundation, our alumnae program is committed to supporting our graduates as they transition from high school to university and beyond, helping them build valuable networks along the way. We aim to foster a strong, connected alumnae community, providing opportunities for alumnae to speak at Harding Miller and donor events, as well as hosting a variety of events across Australia each year.
Through our growing network, we create meaningful opportunities for connection, mentorship and professional development, empowering our alumnae to thrive both personally and professionally while staying connected with the Foundation.
To ease the transition to university life, new Harding Miller graduates are paired with older alumnae attending the same university, offering valuable peer-to-peer support that fosters confidence and connection during this pivotal time. The older buddies receive training to ensure a meaningful and supportive experience for both participants.
Peer group networks have been established in universities across NSW, VIC and QLD and we continue to expand this program.
HMEF actively promote to our scholars and alumnae university scholarships and government funding to assist them in overcoming financial burdens while completing tertiary study. Information about internships and cadetships is also regularly shared with alumnae through social media.
Thanks to our amazing corporate partners, we offer exclusive in-person networking events for alumnae, featuring inspiring female keynote speakers, graduate panels, and opportunities to network with professionals across various fields. In addition, we host virtual webinars on topics such as financial literacy, communication skills, and personal development.
Harding Miller alumnae actively contribute to the Foundation by speaking at events and volunteering at donor gatherings, sharing their stories and insights. Some also host Q&A sessions with current scholars, offering valuable advice on how to maximise their scholarships and navigate life after high school.
Alumnae dinners and gatherings are hosted throughout the year in locations across Australia, including Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. These events provide a wonderful opportunity to connect, reconnect, network and celebrate the vibrant Harding Miller alumnae community.
Our alumnae stay connected and inspired through the Harding Miller Alumnae LinkedIn group, where we regularly share graduate programs, internship opportunities and networking events. On Instagram and Facebook, we celebrate the achievements of our alumnae – highlighting their journeys through feature stories, blog posts and newsletters that showcase their successes and keep the community engaged.
Alumnae newsletters share highlights from the alumnae community, upcoming events, new opportunities and the latest updates from The Harding Miller Education Foundation.
As we continue to grow the alumnae program, we’re excited to announce that we now have an alumnae advisory panel who provide feedback on how we can better support our alumnae.
Together, we’re building a vibrant, lifelong community—one meaningful connection at a time.
