The Harding Miller Education Scholarship is dedicated to empowering young women who attend Australian Public Schools and who demonstrate Academic Excellence, face financial barriers, and are highly motivated to succeed at school and pursue tertiary education.

Harding Miller Education Foundation provides every scholar with the essential tools and resources they need to succeed. Each scholar receives their own high-quality laptop and mobile data, giving them access to the internet wherever they go. We also provide a suite of educational tools and resources, including personalised one-on-one tutoring and the guidance of a dedicated coach. By equipping scholars with this comprehensive support, we help level the playing field so they can compete with their more advantaged peers. Our commitment is to ensure every scholar has the opportunities they deserve and the confidence to create a brighter future and achieve their dreams.

What’s included in the scholarship

High Quality Business Grade Laptop

Scholars receive a high-quality business grade laptop with a 13.3 inch screen , 16GB RAM, 256GB, eSIM Capability and 3 Years Warranty.

Telstra 4G High Speed Internet

With 4G high speed internet Scholars are able to access the internet wherever they are.

Remote IT Support

Scholars are provided remote Technical IT support from 7am – 7 pm AEST Monday to Friday.

Academic Support Program

Access to online learning resources, interactive guides to efficient studying and career pathway resources. Voucher to purchase quality education resources and study material.

One-to-One Personalised Tutoring

Personalised 1:1 tutoring each year online and/or face-to-face. In Years 9 and 10 tutoring is available in Maths, English and Science.

Prepaid Card

Scholars receive a pre-paid expense card that can be utilised for educational expenses such as uniforms, textbooks and school excursions.

Online Homework Help

Studiosity is an online study support service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for scholars to utilise as additional support for their schoolwork.

AI Education and Tools

Future Success Program

We also provide a Future Success program to introduce scholars to a range of career experiences and broaden their horizons about possible tertiary education pathways.

Coaching and Mentoring

Each scholar is matched with a personal coach who supports and guides the scholar through the four years of the program. We have more than 200 volunteer coaches working with us. Many have experience of the education sector and all of them are committed to helping the scholars excel.

HMEF Scholar Hub

Scholars can access the Scholar Hub for information on scholarship tools and resources, answers to frequently asked questions, review newsletters, and opportunities to connect with fellow Harding Miller scholars.
